Opening the book, Alex saw his the top of the page. In the ter was a groove, aled within was a beautiful white gem, surrounded by a ist that lent it an icy feel.
At the bottom of the interface were three options: [Summon][Enhaeleport].
This was what Alex had obtained upon arriving in this world—the Map of Myriad Dimensions!
Most importantly, this was the game system Alex had designed before his reination!
Looking at this incredibly familiar cover, Alex couldn't help but twitch his mouth. He had only specuted before, but now he was certain—this was ihe system he had developed!
This was a new mobile game still in development, called "Map of Myriad Dimensions." In it, pyers could choose their gender and avatar.
Acc to the game's setting, pyers would be caught in a temporal vortex for some reason, waking up to find themselves in a new world.
There, they would enter a rge book called the "Map of Myriad Dimensions," beginning their new journey.
In the game, obtaining the Map of Myriad Dimensions would make the pyer a "Dimensional Mage," meaning a mage who travels through different dimensions.
They could use the map to teleport to various dimensional po plete tasks and earn dimensional points.
These points could be used to summon soul stones taining the power of strong souls from other dimensions or to enhahe attributes of these soul stones.
At this moment, Alex was equipped with a soul stoained from his first "novice summon"—the Lich King Arthur.
As the game's developer, Alex naturally knew how to use soul stohere were two ways to use them.
One was simply to "embed" them in the Map of Myriad Dimensions, granting a perma buff that provided a certain level of enha.
Unless Alex used dimensional points to enhahe soul sto would only offer a limited boost. Enhang it would gradually unloew abilities and skills, much like leveling up in a game.
The other way was to fully activate the power of the soul stone. During activation, Alex could use all the abilities of the entity tained in the soul stone, almost indistinguishably from the inal.
The power Alex used in his battle against those knights was the true strength of the Lich King. Before the Lich King, even the Holy Kingdom's regur knights were fragile and easily defeated.
Unfortunately, while activation seemed cool, it had many limitations.
First, after activation, it would temporarily cool down, just like a skill's cooldown.
Sed, activation had limited uses.
The soul stone of [Arthur] that Alex summoned could only be activated five times in total. Ohe activation uses were exhausted, the soul stone of [Arthur] would pletely colpse and disappear.
In such a case, Alex would have to either summon other soul stones or... just wait to die.

[Exclusive Quest: The Curse of Frostmourne]
[This cursed sword craves souls filled with pain, and your task is to satisfy its hunger—Frostmourne is starving (the bearer must acquire han 1,000 soul power in the quest world. Successful pletion rewards +1 random item, failure subjects the bearer to Soulrend's curse, tdown 24H)]
"Just great…"
Looking at this quest prompt, Alex couldn't help but grind his teeth. He already khat the so-called soul power referred to human souls.
To plete this task, Alex would o kill a thousand people… They weren't pigs! Even if it were a thousand pigs lined up, he probably couldn't kill them all in a day!
But to give up this quest? Ha… Alex wasn't oblivious to the horror of this sword's curse. Frostmourne's curse—there was no way he could withstand that.
What frustrated Alex more was that he had no idea how he ended up with this thing. He clearly remembered that he had only pleted the system's main framework aings; the soul stones and other quest dimensions hadn't been finished.
The programming team hadn't even started w on them. So how was he able to summon a soul stone, and such a powerful one as the Lich King's?
And then there was the dimensional teleportation…
"Ugh…"
Staring at the panel before him, Alex sighed deeply. If possible, he really didn't want to plete this quest. After all, there was no telling which world the system would send him to.
But if he didn't go, Alex knew very well that with his current strength, he'd be at the mercy of the Holy Kingdom if they sent someoer him.
Alex had sidered hiding in the quest world forever, but he khat each quest world had a time limit.
Moreover, like the soul stohe teleportation fun had a cooldown period after each use.
Thus, Alex couldn't hide in the quest world indefinitely, nor could he avoid the Holy Kingdom and the Church of Doom by stantly doing quests.
His only option was tthen himself. Besides, Alex had a feeling that if he didn't go to the quest world now, he might never escape.
And his premonitions were usually accurate.
"Teleport!"
With this thought, Alex didn't hesitate any longer. He she book shut with a "pop" and muttered under his breath.
Immediately, the heavy Map of Myriad Dimensions in his hand transformed ints of light that enveloped him.
In the moment, Alex's figure vanished, and the scattered rings of light quickly disied into tiny particles and disappeared.
"Whoosh… Whoosh…"
Not long after Alex vahe sound of wings fpping filled the air, and soon, several pure white pegasi desded to the spot where Alex had been hiding.
"My sister, have you found anything?"
The man riding one of the pegasi, simir silver-white armor to the knights Alex had seen before, carefully sed the ground and asked softly.
Hearing his question, the female knight on anasus closed her eyes, sensed for a moment, and then shook her head.
"I 't detey trace of him. Brother, I believe he has already left this pce."
"Cursed cultist…"
Hearing the female knight's respohe man ched his fist tightly.
"Not only did he kill our rades, but he also desecrated their bodies and souls! Such as are unfivable! In the name of the Goddess of Order, we will not let our rades die in vain! Justice will be served!"
With that, the man waved his hand forcefully.
"Let's move, keep searg! That cultist 't have gone far! He must be nearby. Search every inch of this area!"
