So, I just entered the Writathon and decided I needed a cover.
Since I always sucked at Art, I made it through text-to-image generator and even like this, it was a long, painful process. So here you are going to have my "making-of" plus some honorable mention cause some of those are so damn cute! Enjoy!
My first "successful" attempt. Honestly not so bad if you like the style.
I was trying to get a Disney Pixar feel... the IA gave me a Border Collie at Disney World. I love the harness.
Honestly, the picture with the style I like the most, but the background is not right.
Support the creativity of authors by visiting Royal Road for this novel and more.
And probably the best background I could ask for but the front is kind of messed up.
We are starting to get the right feel and the right dog, just missing the urban element.
And That's it. There is clearly some human construction in the background, a reminder of the forest. The snow match the season. And the super cloudy picture give a feel of adventure and mystery. I don't think my IA generator could do any better if I gave it +500 attempts. So it's obviously the winner ?? Only took over +100 attempts. ^^
Honorable Mention
This was one of the first picture. It had kind of the animated feels I wanted plus a urban background. I found it funny so I kept it.
This one give the cartoony feel and kind of police dog feel I also wanted, and there are even element of Montana. But it doesn't feel like a finish product for so many reasons.
Look at the cute puppy in her sledge. Isn't she a good girl?
And that would Ember in a SF novel ^^ Really cute. Really weird.
