Episode 25: Roaracryst vs. Roaracryst! The Great Comparison!!

[Scene 1 – Trail to Dark City]

The brawlers are walking along Route 4, just nearing the outskirts of Dark City. The skies are cloudy, and a cool breeze carries the tension of what’s ahead.

  Kouchu:

“Almost there, guys. I heard Dark City’s gym is no joke.”

  Shauna:

“I hope we don’t run into more weirdo traps this time…”

  Sakuro (pointing ahead):

“Hey! Look, someone’s coming this way.”

They spot an older boy with a confident grin, spiky green hair, and a red jacket. Walking beside him is… another Roaracryst!?

  Jack (smirking):

“Yo. Name’s Jack. And this is my partner—Roaracryst. Or as I call him… Roaracryst 2!”

Cue dramatic music as Kouchu’s Roaracryst growls and steps forward.

  Roaracryst:

  “Another me…?”

  ?

  [Scene 2 – The Challenge]

Jack sizes up Kouchu and Roaracryst.

  Jack:

“Word is, you’re collecting medals. Let’s see if your Roaracryst can keep up with mine.”

  Kouchu:

“Oh yeah? Well, we’re not backing down from a challenge!”

Both Roaracrysts face each other, eyes glowing, tails lashing. A competitive tension builds as they begin a skill competition—pushing boulders, speed dashes, elemental blasts, and pinning contests.

  During a pinning match…

  Sakuro (watching):

“Roaracryst 2 pinned the original again… that’s the third time.”

  Shauna:

  “Jack’s Roaracryst is impressive…”

Kouchu looks uneasy, watching his partner get outperformed.

  Kouchu (thinking):

  “Is he… stronger than mine?”

  ?

  [Scene 3 – The Realization]

Later, while the Roaracrysts rest before a real battle, Kouchu pulls out the Energy Level Calculator Shari gave him.

  Kouchu:

  “Let’s see what this says…”

He scans both Roaracrysts. The screen flashes:

  [Energy Level Match: 1224]

  [Result: Equal Power Detected]

  Kouchu:

  “Wait… they’re exactly the same?”

  Shauna:

“Both of them are 1224… Which means it’s not about who’s stronger—it’s how they’re used.”

  ?

[Scene 4 – The Battle of Equals]

The official battle begins. Kouchu and Jack face off in a grassy clearing. A crowd of wild Crystal Monsters watch silently.

  Jack:

  “Don’t hold back!”

  Kouchu:

  “Roaracryst, let’s go all out!”

The two Roaracrysts clash in a flurry of elemental strikes, tail whips, and charged attacks. Each dodge and counter mirrors the other. Their voices echo as they fight:

  Roaracryst:

  “You’re good!”

  Roaracryst 2:

  “So are you!”

Finally, they collide mid-air with a massive impact. Smoke clears—both Roaracrysts are standing… barely.

  Sakuro:

  “They’re both at their limit…”

  Mouselette:

  “They’re too stubborn to fall!”

Both Roaracrysts pant, but glare at each other with fierce respect.

  Roaracryst:

  “I’m not giving up…”

  Roaracryst 2:

  “Neither am I…!”

  Before another attack can begin—

  Jack (stepping forward):

  “Alright, that’s enough.”

  Kouchu:

  “Huh?”

  Jack:

“This isn’t about which is better. They’re both incredible.”

Jack walks over and offers a handshake.

  Jack:

“You’ve got a good partner, Kouchu. Let’s call it a draw.”

  Kouchu (smiling):

  “Deal.”

  ?

  [Scene 5 – Mutual Respect]

The brawlers and Jack sit down by a small hill, watching the sunset.

  Jack:

“Maybe we’ll battle again, when they’ve both gotten stronger.”

  Roaracryst 2:

  “You’re not bad, twin.”

  Roaracryst:

  “Same to you.”

They both bump fists—literally, tiny Crystal fists.

  Shauna (whispers to Sakuro):

“Think Kouchu got inspired by that?”

  Sakuro:

“If he didn’t, I sure did.”

  ?

[Scene 6 – Onward to Dark City]

As night falls, Jack waves and heads off on his own path.

  Jack:

“Good luck at the next gym. You’re gonna need it.”

  Kouchu (grinning):

  “Bring it on.”

The brawlers continue toward Dark City, determined and ready.

[End Scene – Light Comedy Bonus]

During the credits, Roaracryst tries to imitate Roaracryst 2’s signature pose… and stumbles.

  Mouselette:

“Stick to your own style, buddy.”

  Roaracryst (rubbing his head):

  “Worth a shot…”
