Chapter 14: The Escape to Germany

The sun had barely risen over Tokyo when Yamamoto San, still hiding under his false identity, silently boarded a pne bound for Germany. The frantic manhunt in Japan for "Yamamoto San" had intensified, but Satsujin Sha—disguised as his alter ego—was already two steps ahead. He had meticulously pnned his escape from Japan, and as the pne ascended into the sky, he felt a chilling sense of satisfaction. No one suspected he was leaving, and with each passing mile, the danger of his capture grew more distant.

The journey to Germany was long but uneventful. Satsujin kept his head down, blending in with the other passengers. His mind, however, was racing with the details of his next pn. Once he nded, he would meet Edward Flores, a notorious underground figure who was known for his involvement in illegal arms dealing and bck-market crimes. Edward had been a distant contact for years, a resource Satsujin could exploit now that his presence in Japan had become too risky.

The moment the pne touched down in Berlin, Satsujin moved with the same calcuted precision that had kept him alive so far. He navigated through customs with ease, his fake passport and new identity—Yamamoto San—passing unnoticed by the authorities. As he stepped out into the cool air of the German capital, a sense of freedom washed over him. Here, in this new ndscape, he was no longer being hunted. He was the hunter once more.

Edward Flores was waiting for him at a small café in a less-traveled part of the city. The man was sharp-eyed, with a cold expression and a build that suggested he was no stranger to violence. His reputation as a ruthless criminal preceded him, and yet, he had no idea that the man sitting across from him was not Yamamoto San, but Satsujin Sha—the same figure who had terrorized Japan and left a trail of bodies in his wake.

“Yamamoto,” Edward greeted him in English, his voice low and suspicious. “I’ve heard about your problems back in Japan. You’ve made quite the mess.”

Satsujin gave a slight nod, his expression unreadable. “Things escated faster than I anticipated. But I need your help now.”

Edward leaned back in his chair, eyeing Satsujin with cautious interest. “And why should I help you? What’s in it for me?”

Satsujin’s lips curled into a small, sinister smile. “Because, Edward, you and I can benefit from each other. You provide me with weapons, resources, and a network. In return, I’ll give you chaos—more than you can imagine.”

Edward’s eyes glimmered with interest. Chaos, after all, was something he thrived on.
