Chapter 15: The First Kill in Germany

The partnership between Satsujin and Edward Flores began that night. Satsujin, no longer content to hide under his false identity, revealed his true nature to Edward during a private meeting in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of Berlin.

"I’m not Yamamoto San," Satsujin said, his voice cold and matter-of-fact. "I am Satsujin Sha."

Edward’s eyes widened in shock for the briefest of moments before he regained his composure. The name of Satsujin Sha had reached even the dark underworld of Europe. The stories of his murders in Japan, the destruction he had caused, and the calcuted brutality with which he executed his pns were infamous.

For a moment, there was a tense silence between the two men as Edward processed this revetion. But just as quickly, the realization that he had been in the presence of a master killer only served to intrigue him further.

“So, what do you want from me, Satsujin Sha?” Edward asked, his curiosity piqued.

Satsujin’s smile was sharp, his eyes glinting with a dangerous light. “Your resources, your network. But most of all, I want you to help me disappear from the world’s eye so I can continue my work.”

“What kind of work?” Edward asked, though he already knew the answer.

“Murder,” Satsujin replied simply. “I want to kill, without boundaries, without limitations. And Germany will be my new pyground.”

Edward stared at him for a moment before he nodded. “Alright. Let’s see what kind of chaos we can unleash together.”

But Edward would soon regret that agreement. Within days of their partnership, Satsujin had grown tired of working alongside Edward. The man was useful but too cautious, too focused on profits rather than the thrill of the kill. Satsujin, on the other hand, was driven by his desire for pure destruction, and Edward’s limited vision began to bore him.

One night, just a week after Satsujin had nded in Germany, he invited Edward to another meeting—this time in a secluded location outside of the city. The air was cold, and a thick fog had settled over the fields surrounding them.

As they stood together, discussing the next phase of their operation, Satsujin silently drew a knife from his coat. Without warning, he plunged it into Edward’s chest, the bde slicing through flesh and bone with ease. Edward gasped, his hands cwing at Satsujin in shock, but there was no mercy in the eyes of his killer.

“You were useful,” Satsujin whispered as he twisted the bde, “but you were never my equal.”

Edward’s body crumpled to the ground, his blood pooling in the dirt. Satsujin wiped the bde clean and pocketed it, his eyes scanning the darkened horizon. Edward Flores was dead, and with him, the st obstacle to Satsujin’s reign of terror in Germany.
