They woke up the next day to find the little ones crawling all over them, some crying in the corner. When Eve went to check it out the little ones have pyed with the one side sharp stone and got their fingers nicked. Eve trying to soothe their pain sucked on their fingers and drank the little blood that was dripping out of their fingers. After some time, they settled down and Eve was angrily grunting at them, while the little ones cowered expecting a beating. But she just teared up and started weeping which waked up Adam and seeing the little ones in trouble he just giggled and went out to pick fruits. Just when he was turning back there was a loud eruption in the horizon, this was the first time he has experienced such terror in his life. There was something instinctual something primitive about this fear unlike the one he felt when the Chasmaporthetes was about to nd the killing blow, this felt raw, unending and shook him to his bones.
But when he thought about his kids and wife, he was somehow able to move despite the crippling fear of the va flowing down towards him. He ran and ran and ran, he fell down multiple times but kept going despite the nicks and bruises he got. When he neared their cave, he let out a rumbling roar “AARRRHHH!!!!”. This alerted the already at edge family (due to the rumbling earthquake that accompanies any volcanic eruption) to get a move on. The one edge sharp stone was put inside a banana leaf equivalent (genus musa) and carried by Eve. The youngest child was carried by Adam. They ran towards a comparable mountain in the opposite side of the eruption, without looking back. The little one in the arms was crying in fear and Adam without any other thoughts than to escape their current predicament didn’t mind the noise. After about 2 hours of running, they reached the foot of the mountain. Adam helped the kids climb and closely followed them to safeguard their ascent, occasionally catching the smaller ones when slipping. But their fears were unfounded when the stream cross cutting the two mountains stopped the flowing magma.
After around two days of huddling around in trees they finally let go and returned to their undisturbed cave. After about a month the va cooled down and was safe to walk over, tested repeatedly by Adam and Eve. They broke of chunks of magma to see what it can do like the other stones they’ve been pying with; their curiosity caught the better of them and they tried eating igneous rock it tasted like burnt mud and ash. Then tried smashing it on the ground and observed if the igneous rock broke like the one side sharp stone or shattered like the other stones. The sound it makes when breaking differs from the other rocks they broke until now and this rock, does not shatter but splinters into two. The bck rock’s edge, unexpectedly shiny, made them curious enough to touch it. Adam’s finger slid along its edge; a sudden, sharp sting followed by blood. He jerked his hand back, wincing in pain. Eve, mirroring him, repeated the action. The same sharp bite, the same shocking bloom of red on her fingertip. A whimper escaped her, they stared at their bleeding fingers, a mixture of pain and awareness in their wide eyes. They licked the blood and stared at the cause of their pain with a thoughtful expression.
They break up the big chunk of a rock into smaller pieces. Making more sharp stone pieces as a result, this time although curious they don’t fully touch them, just rub their fingers over the stone and feel the smooth texture of the stone compared to the rough and grainy ones of the shatter stone. They then gather these sharp stones with a banana leaf wrapping over them to prevent injury, and then make their way to their cave. In the cave the children were sitting in a circle throwing stones to each other pying. Eve pces the igneous rocks in the corner and she warns the children to not touch them, meanwhile Adam traverses the forests foraging for fruits. After feeding their family Adam and Eve take their store of igneous rocks search the forest for the chasmaporthetes that had crossed paths with them again and again.
When they came to the pce where it was seen before, they found the overgrown hyena hunting a Nyanzachoerus (pig ancestor) and eating the meat. Once it started to eat the meat, Adam and Eve threw a sharp stone (Igneous rock they just broke off) aiming at its head. They hit their mark and the chasmaporthetes gave out a loud cry of pain, and rushed towards the tree Adam and Eve were perched upon. But after repeated attempts to bring the tree down failed, it gave up and winced for a few times and just spasmed on the ground and after about 2 mins it finally gave out and died. Seeing the overgrown hyena happily eating the overgrown pig numerous times in the past, they grew curious to its taste and teared off a piece of the meat and tried eating it and DAMN it was tasty as hell.
That was the day the Australopithecus Africanus became an omnivore in the literal sense and from then on, they regurly hunted for Nyanzachoerus and ate its meat. Then they figured out a nice application for their sharp stones, to cut into meat! Thus, they went on to live happy lives raising their children, foraging for fruits, hunting Nyanzachoerus and other prey like the chasmaporthetes. Living till the ripe old age of 38 and dying peacefully in sleep, both Adam and Eve return to their sanctuaries in TNP. Now they spend their time watching how the other nine (named Beth, Charlie, Donovan, Francine, Grant, Hugo, Isaiah, Jasmine, and Katherine) live their lives after them. After a bit they too return to TNP and are shocked to see Adam and Eve staying in TNP and not reincarnating again.
Then something happened to them, their soul shape changed to mirror A. Africanus, and they could somehow make noise out of their mouths. They make noise for sometime excited and happy, but soon quiet down as they saw their offspring, proliferate and make the same mistakes they did again and again. The ones in TNP felt sick to their stomach and angry at themselves for not teaching things to their children, Adam and Eve did all the things they were supposed to do as parents, like foraging, hunting, fetching water, and procreating in front of the kids, and the kids learned by imitating them, but their kids did not understand the reason behind why they were doing these things in front of their offspring and did not follow the same practice, thus leading to this outcome. So, Adam and Eve, beat up the younger kids (Beth, Charlie, Donovan, Francine, Grant, Hugo, Isaiah, Jasmine, and Katherine) to relieve their frustration and to educate them on the consequences of their actions. But the surviving hominins then proliferated well to form a tribe of 100 people. Slowly encroaching on the ndscape of modern Africa, they spread to form multiple tribes of 100 people or so.
This became something of a norm, once a tribe hits 100 people or so they branch out, due to various things like disagreements when choosing a tribe chief (Not the literal selection but something like fights to see the alpha, the one who loses branches out along with willing females), ck of resources for a few, etc.… and they slowly spread all through Africa except for a few pces which where the hunting ground of a few apex predators which killed and ate anyone who roamed in its territory. Watching their species go through life became a source of entertainment and information among them. Even though they got frustrated every time they made the same mistakes over and over again, they thought that they will teach them the proper way the next time they reincarnate into one of them. But one thing they did not know was the time dition TNP experiences, They, watched their species but the time they were watching was 10,000 years since their departure.
They felt simir due to the fact that there were only a few people, but the didn’t know that their species went almost extinct multiple times before regaining their numbers again, this repeated for around 1,000,000 years after which they were into their next life. Unlike their previous life the 11 were able to get themselves reincarnated in a serial fashion almost simultaneously (Order was Adam, Beth, Charlie, Donovan, Eve, Francine, Grant, Hugo, Isaiah, Jasmine and the st was Katherine). They were excited to reform their species and make them better, every parent should teach the things that sustain life to their children and everyone should live to their full life expectancy (basically they did stupid things and died early many times) and treat their lives more sacred and prioritize their life over stuff like revenge and be more cautious. Use tools properly without suffering injuries themselves and keep the sharp tools away from kids. These things were in all of their minds, basically like the same person but with different personalities.
They moved with purpose, determination and curiosity; what was happening to them why can they reincarnate again but the others don’t seem to? All these questions pgued their minds that seems to have grown from what it was before, they could think more clearly, pay attention to more things than before and most importantly form coherent thoughts. Something they were unable to before and it seemed like they were unable to find shade in a bzing hot desert and now not only could they find the shade but it also had its own swimming pool. They were almost drowning in new ideas like how to use the stones they found (that could cut them), they could now picture themselves using it to harvest fruits that were ripe, catch some of the slithering vermin in rivers and kes, tear of bigger leaves from trees to cover themselves from the cold, hunt more easily, and not injure themselves, how they can use these sharp stones to y traps for bigger animals, etc… But soon they were also filled with the happiness that they will go back to their species and live among their children once more… Their st thoughts were filled with happiness and curiosity as they touched the embryos that would soon become their bodies, with that thought the brightness of their soul faded a bit. Their form turning into something simir to a ball and resided within the stomach of the mother flickering slightly growing imperceptibly brighter with passing time. Slowly their bodies (embryos) fully fertilized and birthed a cell, full of endorphins and growth hormones signaling the start of the growth phase of the baby. The soul deeply nourishing the growing fetus, and feeding memories and information into the body ingraining it into the brain as it is forming and growing, deeply embedding itself into the entire being unshakable and strongly rooted like a mountain. This vitalization of the body from the soul energy, as well as the memory loading process will take pce until the brain of the baby is fully developed, which takes almost 15 years for the new body of the little homo erectus baby.
The benefits of the soul of a reincarnators are immense, due to unduting reserves of memory, and the nourishment of the soul energy during the formation phase, the body and mind of the baby is fortified and more resistant to damage, and has a sharper mind than regur people whose soul energy nourishment doesn’t begin until they are fully formed, i.e. from the final trimester of the pregnancy. Each and every cell receiving the nourishment is more active and efficient giving them higher metabolic efficiency, allowing them to survive on less food and giving them a lean physique by nature. Although the strength part leaves a little to be desired, this will be dealt with in the coming reincarnations which can allow them to understand the growth of a fetus from the embryo allowing their soul energy to subtly affect the innate talents and properties of their future body. This will be very beneficial for future where they can influence the baby to be able to perform certain things that are pertinent to solve certain problems (which you will see both in the main story of this part and the next parts). The new body of Adam wakes up in the forest, near his mother and father, crying loudly but with a heart of steel and ambition to steer their tribe towards greatness.
