A fan fiction set in the Universe of Stray Cat Strut Salt City many things to the outside observer: big, crowded, dry, smoggy in the winter, and overall, nice. Lots of nice shiny white buildings. A few old historical buildings preserved ipdiwntown as a bit of am exhibit for the wealthy. Beneath that, Salt City is many other things. Warmongering, brutal, and filled to the brim with the worst people imaginable, crawling between the mega-hab blocks, corporate super structures, and ranging out into the salt wastes that lie between the Rockies and the Sierra Nevadas. Then…. The aliens come in. Sure would be great if I could remember my own name, wouldn’t it?
