When I woke up, it was 4 AM. Maybe because I rested a lot the previous day, I woke up earlier than usual.
I headed to the rooftop to take a bath. By the time I returned to my room, it was already 6 AM. I had breakfast, and when I checked the time, it was 6:20 AM.
It was time to clean the lower floor.
Feeling ready for a fight—just like on the 5th floor—I made my way to the door of the 3rd floor.
I took a deep breath before opening a small part of the door to peek inside. There were a lot of zombies, but I couldn't tell exactly how many. The floor was divided into five sections, with a 4-meter-wide corridor in the middle. On both sides were restaurant areas, each split into two parts—one on the left and one on the right.
Looking around, I realized I had more space to practice my throwing skills compared to the 5th floor.
I learned something—I hadn't actually brought the desk with me. I created it on the spot. The [Item Creation] skill has a 100-slot limit, and I just found a loophole.
All I need to do is carry a single item in my [Spatial] storage and use [Item Creation] to copy its blueprint.
I pced six desks in front of me, two meters from the door. They formed a solid makeshift defense.
As I finished setting things up, I spotted six zombies about six meters away from my barricade.
I waited for the first zombie to come within 3 meters.
The first throw—miss.
The second—miss again.
It moved even closer, now less than 2 meters away.
I took a deep breath to calm myself. Steadying my stance, I pced my left foot forward, preparing to throw with my right arm. I twisted my body to the left at a 190° angle, stretching my arm back while gripping the axe firmly—without locking my wrist.
With a powerful motion, I swung forward, nearly completing a full 360° turn before releasing the axe. It flew in a straight line, striking the zombie’s head and killing it instantly.
'It's freaking cool, but the position feels odd. Or maybe my body just hasn't adjusted yet... but hey, it works.'
I focused on the next zombie. Once it reached 3 meters, I tried again—missed.
I kept repeating the process, slowly improving, until I had taken down the st five. On average, it took me three throws to nd a hit. The zombies got as close as 1 meter from my barricade, but none managed to reach it.
'Man, if I keep throwing like this, I'm definitely going to sprain something. It's hard to tell which part of my body is doing the most work, but once it gives out, that's it.'
I leveled up and allocated my points to agility. Maybe it would help ease the strange feeling when twisting my body.
>Agility:6;
Once I finished allocating my attribute points, the stiffness in my muscles felt like it had stretched out.
It was different from the feeling of adding strength, which compresses your muscles and makes them heat up. This, on the other hand, felt more like a stretch, giving me a rexed sensation.
I killed 15 more zombies after leveling up, but then I waited for about 15 minutes with no sign of anything else.
That’s when a thought crossed my mind:
"It looks like every zombie now is level 2. I don’t know if they level up by eating, or if they just level up by standing around."
It seemed like it would be hard to figure that out for now.
So, I decided to be patient. I waited another 10 minutes, but still, nothing happened.
I could smell the corpses, so I decided to cover my nose. Since the furthest one was only 3 meters away, I dragged the bodies to the side.
I moved slowly to the first section, pcing a desk every meter for spacing. They couldn't jump—but I could.
I spotted three more zombies inside, but before engaging, I checked the other side for any changes. Nothing had changed.
I lured them toward me and ran back to the closest desk. Turning to face them, I threw my axe, killing the nearest zombie. Then, I took down the second one.
The third zombie was only a meter away. I quickly jumped back, using the desk as a barrier. As it got closer, I swung my axe straight at its head. The impact was strong—the axe got stuck.
I repeated the same process for the other sections, gaining over 360 tons of atom and killing 18 more zombies.
After finishing the st kill, I checked the time—it was already 10 AM.
I cleaned up the floor and piled the zombie corpses to one side. Once everything was done, it was time for lunch.
But before that, I made sure to block the stairs leading to the 2nd floor and secured the elevator on the 3rd floor.
If I'm not mistaken, the converter had been upgraded. I checked my skill to confirm.
