Gekaryna vela’Herst,
Thank you for informing me of Awenela’s safe arrival. I had no doubt she would arrive safely into your care, but confirmation is always appreciated.
I am sorry to hear of the passing of Athalric. I wish I could have attended the funeral to say goodbye to such an old friend, but even if I left the moment I heard the news, I still would have arrived late. I hope your mother is handling this as well as she possibly can.
Nefen’s ships looked as though they were coming back from the coast of the Grand Northern Forest. I am going to assume that they were returning from W?ldende as I cannot think of a reason for an Ianian to go to a different city. I cannot be sure of this as I cannot see W?ldende from Ianor?. They could have simply been on a long leisure voyage—but I highly doubt this; it would make little sense to sail so far north on a leisure voyage. Unfortunately, I am unable to answer the burning question of why Nefen would be going to the Grand Northern Forest or W?ldende, but I’m sure he has an excellent reason to be doing so.

Arka says thank you and that she misses all of you as well.
We, as well as the Letsers, will be visiting the Crown from the 14th to the 19th of the next maiden as we have been invited by Alavel Heren for the wedding of Dyder and Ilsenila. Please do not tell Awenela of this; Tyes wishes for the visit to be a surprise.
Brenwal Epp?ns.
