53. Goodbye, Johnny.

I was woken up late again by Amanda. We followed the same routine as the day before, except my body was more sore this time. I made sure I had my phone charged, today might be an important day.

Arriving at school many eyes looked at me with malice. I could tell they were having fun assaulting me. They were blinded by the lie that I was evil, and followed the momentum of the waves.

Bullying was a way to enact justice to them, because doing something bad to a bad person was good. Who wouldn’t want to enact justice, because there was one truth hating justice was evil.

Would I act any differently? I asked myself.

“I’m the only one who can act differently.” I reaffirmed myself out loud. My power gave me the ability to know the truth, or at least part of it.

I continued to the classroom while surrounded by malicious smiles. Could they have planned something again? It was likely, not everybody would be afraid of me. Even if I did shut Jessie down, people will always stand to fight against evil.

The airsoft guns were already shooting, but my face didn’t move an inch. Through the excruciating pain I didn’t even flinch.

Reacting would only give in to their complexes, reacting would mean they won. That they are above, and I would never let that happen.

School started and I was dead tired, and even sitting in a chair felt extremely relaxing. Unfortunately, the painful pinging on the back of my neck and upper back constantly ruined my rest. I could feel my temper slowly rise, but I knew I wouldn’t lose control.

I tried to focus on something, slowly narrowing down the suspects. I knew about half the room was in front of me and half behind. I had never been hit from the front, so I could narrow down the amount of suspects by about half.

However the most likely situation was that there were multiple people. It would be almost impossible to narrow down suspects through watching. I also didn’t feel like digging through over a dozen people’s sins to see if they had possibly done something wrong around an airsoft gun.

I leaned forward on my desk and managed to avoid a lot of airsoft pellets.

By lunch I had a headache, luckily I was sent to school with painkillers. I ran to the bathroom to get some water.

Unfortunately, there were people waiting for me behind a corner. Two of them were especially buff, and were able to hold my arms. My weakened condition made it nearly impossible to fight back.

I was then forced to my knees. My entire body felt like it was on fire, I could feel about five pairs of hands grabbing different parts of my body. I could feel my tender flesh give way to their forceful grips. Pain was such a small word.

Luckily, they decided to put out the fire on my back. A giant jug of icy water was poured over my head. My body was shocked by the sudden temperature change and I forgot my pain. All the heat had left my body, and I was beginning to shiver.

One benefit of the situation was that I was now completely awake, no laziness remained in my mind. I began to struggle as much as I could. Turning and twisting, however, too many people were holding me for it to be effective.

I finally got the opportunity to look at my attackers. They were all wearing those brown paper bags. They wanted to keep their anonymity?

One bag head, with particularly toned forearms, started to punch my gut. My Abdomen instinctively tightened, and my breath lingered. It was hard to breathe with your gut tightened. However, the pain that came with being punched in the gut helped me overcome that slight hesitation.

I gave a death glare to the person in front of me. My face did not twitch, and my body did not cower. Giving in was never an option.

The bag head who was punching me stopped, he was out of breath. He reached behind him and pulled out an airsoft gun. I reacted quickly, but the only thing I could do was use my power.

His name was Jasper Mack, and he wasn’t a horribly bad person. However, that made no difference.

Another name that I would get revenge on.

It wasn’t like I could blame everyone for hating me. To them I was an evil person, however going this far was not a good thing.

Jasper held the airsoft gun up against my stomach, this time I tried my best to forcibly tighten my muscles. He pulled the trigger again and again.

“Dude, stop.” Somebody said. I was immediately filled with doubt. Would somebody really try to stop this, was there somebody who was good?

The two people started whispering to each other. The other person also had a paper bag on his head.

The two shortly finished his conversation.

“Fine, we will bring him. Anyway I’m sure this will be my last time seeing this scum.” Jasper responded.

“Carry him.” Jasper ordered. The five people holding me suddenly lifted, and I was in the air.

It was more comfortable than the hard ground, so I rolled with it.

We were walking through the halls, however there was no one. Suddenly a large crowd of students saw us. They made way to give us room, and I caught a look at their faces.

They all had an upright demeanor, one that looked down on me. As if they were throwing away trash.

I thought more about the situation, this seemed kind of familiar. It is like some henchman bringing me to their leader, but these guys' leader is…

A grin more devilish found my face. It was finally going to be over. My grin broke through everything I was feeling. There was no more pain, no more cold, no more hate. It was all a greedy joy.

  Goodbye, Johnny.
