54. How could I have trouble dealing with a child?

I was being dragged through a large crowd.

Even though everybody was looking at me with disgust I was arrogantly grinning. The edges of my mouth were nearly all the way up to my ears.

We finally arrived in what was supposed to be an open area in the school. However, it was filled to the brim with people. I would relate it to a colosseum, especially since of the type of show they came to watch.

The small open area in the center had only one person standing there.

  Johnny.

Seeing him made my grin even bigger. My heart rate slightly increased, and adrenaline made me a little high. Immense joy filled me.

The second I made an appearance everybody began chanting.

  “Johnny!” Again and again.

I was brought face to face with said Johnny and then released from the grip of the five students holding me. I got to my feet, and remembered all the pain I had to go through to make it here.

“Hello, Azure.” Johnny said, he also had a confident smile on his face.

“What do you want now, Johnny?” I asked like I was oblivious to the situation I had planned myself.

“You can drop the act, you are scared are you not?” Johnny said arrogantly.

I almost forgot I had to keep up an act, I could not let it down until it was finally over. I changed my expression to a more worried one.

“W-what do you want?” I asked again, while adding a stutter.

“What I want is justice, you are such an evil person. Just you attending this school will negatively affect students. I believe it is my duty to serve justice to those deserving.” Johnny spoke a little loudly, but nobody dared talk. They did not want to interrupt their idol.

It was true that just me attending the school was negatively affecting the students, but it was their own fault.

“Just what have I done to make me so evil?” I asked innocently, while leading the conversation from behind.

“Are you really asking me that?” Johnny said like he was offended. I didn’t like how he was over exaggerating everything.

“Yes.” I said, with a hint of my former grin.

“You are a murderer who killed his own mother. You are also a rapist. You even made your victim disappear. “ Johnny said. I could feel the sweet fruit of my victory coming close to my lips.

“You say all these things, but I have time and time again asked for evidence of those crimes.” I spoke uniformly, like it was a practiced thing.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

Johnny sighed, “I have the evidence right here.” He pointed toward a stack of papers in his left hand. What I wanted was in there, but I knew if I was aggressive people would stop me.

  “Fakes.” I responded.

“Are they?” Johnny replied. He then grabbed a piece of paper from the pile.

“This is your mothers death certificate, it shows that your mother was stabbed to death.” Johnny said. He continued grabbing papers and explaining them.

A newspaper article about my mothers death.

My fathers letter to his therapists.

Police reports of my supposed rape of Greta.

  Newspaper articles about my rape.

Throughout all of his lies and deceptions I stood silent, stoic, without arguing a bit. I saw people's eyes grow even colder towards me. I was no longer a human to them. I was the wicked beast that was meant to be slayed in this colosseum.

He was finally left with three papers and those were the ones I wanted.

Johnny pulled out the first one, “This is a missing poster for Greta.” Johnny said. I could see his eyes had already grown full of malice. The poster looked real enough, but something like that would be easy to fake.

“After you were arrested she was never seen again. So not only did you rape this girl, but you made her go missing.” Johnny said, and everything was going my way.

“We had this conversation before, I was in captivity with the police. How could I make her go missing in any way?” I asked. My glare at the people around me was growing colder.

“Yes we did have this conversation before, but do you remember where we left off?” Johnny said.

“That I had accomplices, but they have alibis.” I said, and the time was finally here.

“But they don’t have alibis.” Johnny said arrogantly, like I had just fallen into his trap.

“WHAT?” I shouted in surprise. I immediately began to seek out the papers.

“It’s true, they have nothing of the such. Look.” Johnny said before handing me the stack of papers. He would happily let me look at the papers, because they weren’t faked like the other ones.

On top were two sheets of paper that had been the motivation for my life right now. Each of the two sheets had a name and addresses of a person I was looking for.

I let out a sigh and my heart felt light. It was finally over.

I ingrained the two addresses into my memory. Even if I lost the papers I would be able to remember the address.

After thoroughly memorizing the information I shoved the papers into my jacket.

“What are you doing?” Johnny asked.

“Goodbye, Johnny.” I said, with a peaceful smile on my face. There was no longer a need to hide my emotions.

  I began to walk away.

“Where are you going?” Johnny asked again.

“You don’t seem to understand something?” I replied.

“You just think you can leave whenever you please?” Johnny said arrogantly.

“You have served all your use. You are no longer needed.” I spoke with my feelings entwined, and my words contained only a fraction of my suffering.

  “Use?” Johnny asked while laughing.

“Yes, from the very beginning I have been using you, and I am now saying you have served your purpose.” I spoke even more coldly.

  “What?” Johnny said with panic.

“Did you think I would be scared of you for even a second?” I asked sarcastically.

Now it was time for Johnny’s face to change from one of arrogance to one of fear.

  “How?” He said nonsense.

“How could I have trouble dealing with a child?” I replied.

  “Child?” he spoke nonsense again.

I left and the crowd of people once again made way for me, however this time it was out of a different emotion.

I picked up my phone for a couple of calls.
