Mira casted [Perimeter] and a wind barrier formed around the fighting square, both Raia and Marcus went inside;
Marcus was either a mage or an enchanting magician but by his fighting stance Raia would bet on the latter since he was in an unarmed fighting stance.
After Raia also prepared herself, Mira asked:“Are both fighters ready?”
“Yes” they both replied.
“Begin” Mira said.
And so the duel began, Marcus was the first to act, he activated some sort of enchanting magic that made the skin of his fists have the same properties of steel.
With that he started to close the gap but raia didn't move, she let him come close.
When he was finally in range of her sword she threw a snap cut towards his chest, which he parried with his right hand deflecting her sword and at the same time advancing to try and enter in range with his fists but she didn't let him; she backstepped and thrust towards his front leg, which he tried to parry by extending his left arm which was directly above the leg and backhanding the sword away.
She anticipated him though and aborted the attack by tilting the point upward with the back hand on the hilt and attacking the left side of his chest, now he only had the right arm to defend.
The only thing he could do was to drive the sword away with his palm but that is what Raia was waiting for, as once her sword was aligned with the boy's shoulder she slashed down managing about ten centimeters before the boy was able to try and distance himself again.
She didn't let him.
She pursued while trying to attack his weakened side.
He tried to defend but after another few shallow hits he conceded since he knew there was no comeback from his situation.
“I concede.” said Marcus
“It was a good fight.” responded Raia
“It definitely was.”
“Now both of you, off the field, Rio it's your turn.”
After Raia and Marcus got off the field Mira dropped and recast [Perimeter] so that both Raia and Rio would be considered participants and then made them start fighting after they both gave her the ready status.

For Raia Rio as Mira called him would be the easiest opponent in the entire ten fights for one simple reason: he is the pure mage and she as an antimagic magician was his biggest counter.
Right after he started trying to cast spells she instantly casted [Antimagic Aura] which trivialized the fight cause, while she walked towards him wanting to place her sword on his throat to end the duel, an area around her was swarmed of antimagic mana creating basically a mobile [Null] with her as the center. Which was a huge disadvantage for her basically every single time apart from 1v1 duels where she could just create an area around herself to dissipate incoming spells with her superior mana quantity.
She didn't need to do that though cause her adversary said this after a few seconds of her employing this strategy.
“I forfeit, I can't beat you, you have more mana than me and I don't want to deplete your mana by casting while moving and always staying outside of the range of your spell, witch by the way I would not be able to do anyway because you are faster than me and I am not as good as I would like with casting while moving.
In fewer words, I don't have a chance.”
“Raia wins both fighters out of the ring Nia it's your turn.”
Nia was a rapier user and that would be a problem for Raia cause the rapier is faster and can be used with one hand, while she has a two handed and slower sword.
She still managed to edge out a win but it was clear she was at her limit and couldn't continue past Nia.
“This is how I will fight outside of the fortress so this is technically my limit but I still have a card up my sleeve.
She then to the shock of everyone took off a jacket, two bracelets and two ankle bracelets.
She also reduced the weight of her weapon but this couldn't be noticed from an outside perspective.
She threw the weighted gear apart from her weapon, obviously, to the outside of the arena and they left grooves in the soil which was hard and dry after two weeks without rain and this shocked everyone, cause it meant that she fought the entire time while weighted down.
She also deactivated every dampening effect on the blindfold.
Which, in the two years she practiced with it had become more and more restrictive, and was the reason she always had her opponents close to herself cause the maximum she could see was about ten meters at maximum restrictions.
That also meant that a ranged attack would basically always hit unless she heard it and managed to dodge it from sound only; and in 2 years she only managed to do it once and it was a fireball so it was pretty loud.
“Can you humor me and make me fight the next battles or not?”
Raia asked Mira.
“Although I would like to see the fights myself, sadly I can't, we are technically on a schedule and you can always battle them while training if you get the chance.
We already lost a bit of time testing [Perimeter] even though it came out extremely profitable.
We have to get back to the other kid and you both have to do the written test which I sincerely hope you both pass since you both did well enough in the practical test.”
After that Raia took the weights of the ground, dusted them a bit and wore them again before adjusting the weight of her weapon and the enchantments of the blindfold for non fighting situations which entailed in not having any restrictions at all.
She then began following after Mira towards the room where the boy was waiting.
