"Mother, they are my friends Isabel and her friend. Isabel is the one I met today on the market. I offered them to stay in our house for a while."

  Lucia's mother didn't say anything. Both Cra and Isabel didn't understand why this happened and why was Lucia's mother like that. Lucia and Isabel quickly left as Lucia wanted to slow her around and as Cra stood within the shadow of the room, they went around her without noticing her. Even Isabel lost track of Cra and they left the bedroom.

  Cra watched for the shadow for a while and tried to decide if she would leave or not. Just before she wanted to leave Lucia's mother spoke.

  "Don't think that I don't see you vampire."

  Her voice was very weak and frail as she spoke and at the same time got the attention of Cra. She didn't know how she noticed her and how was possible that she spoke to her. She came closer to the bed and looked closer at the woman.

  Cra felt as soon as she was closer that she was sick for a long time and she smelled very bad.

  "What happened to you?"

  Cra touched the woman and her hand started to smoke.

  "Silver. You are poisoned by silver. How funny. You are trying to protect yourselves, but in the end, you will die on something which was supposed to protect you."

  "At least Lucia is not drinking that poison."

  "Do as you wish vampire, just let Lucia alone."

  "You know Lucia was the one who invited us here and Isabel probably told her that I am a vampire anyway."

  "Once Lucia comes back here, I will tell you that you are a vampire and both of you will be hunted down."

  "I don't think so."

  "What do you think vampire? You were the st here. Even if you kill me, others will find out that you are behind my death."

  Cra stopped her movement as she wanted to kill her and then go away, but what Lucia's mother said was true.

  "I AM NOT A VAMPIRE. WE ARE LUCIA'S FRIENDS."

  Cra tried to use voice on the woman, but she was not successful.

  "Your magic will not work on me."

  Cra tried to use her voice a few more times and after fifteen attempts, Ginerva Bianchi forgot Cra’s true identity.

  After finally finishing the mess, Cra left to find Isabel and Lucia. They were on the balcony along with one more person. It was a young-looking man in servant clothes. Lucia was sitting on his p and all three of them were talking about Isabel’s job.

  Cra came to the balcony and as she stood in the shadow of the door frame to the balcony, they didn't see her even as they looked her way. Only after a long time did Isabel suddenly speak.

  "Cra, why are you standing there like that? Why don't you join us."

  Isabe moved a little on the chair and patted her thighs. Both Cra and the servant boy looked at the doors to see to whom was Isabel talking. None of them thought that there was someone else in the house with them except for Ginerva.

  Cra went to them on the balcony and they switched pces with Isabel. She quickly vacated her pce to let Cra sit and sit on her p.

  "Cra, where have you been? Lucia just introduced me to her servant. His name is Allesio Romano."

  He quickly stood up and bowed. He had shot brown hair and deep blue eyes, which were madly attractive for both Isabel and Lucia.

  "Hi. I am Cra."

  "I will quickly go bring something for drinking."

  As soon as he left, both Cra and Isabel looked at Lucia. She immediately knew why, thanks to how was Allesio behaving with her. Lucia's face quickly turned red from shame, which was seen under the moon's light.

  "So, how long youbeene together?" Asked Isabel curiously. She heard about such rumors at the market when she was selling there and was curious about such fascinating facts as who was sleeping with whom andwho wass cheating on whom. And now she discovered something like that.

  "I can't be with servant. Other people wthinkhing bad things about our already crumbling family. If someone found out, I would not be able to get married in the future."

  "Why don't you marry him? He looks so good."

  Lucia's face turned even redder and she lost it.

  "I can't. It will bring shame to the family and mother will not gonna forgive me."

  "Who cares? We are also together with Cra and no one said anything to it."

  Cra felt somehow strange, as she knew that they never were outside the nest or somewhere else in daylight and only went out at night. This reason was the most important thing which was, because unlike them, other people would come outsideduringn the day and others will be able to see them. This most basic fact was the factor that even though they were together with Isabel only the vampires and Lucia ever saw them and vampires will say nothing to them either way.
