To their aid, Allesio came back with a bottle of wine and gsses. Both Cra and Isabel were slightly surprised by the fact, that they would drink wine from the gsses made of gss and not from other metal, which could expose Cra if Allesio brought silver cups.

  They start drinking the wine and after just one cup, both Cra and Isabel are drunk. For Cra, who was only eating one or two times a day depending on the fact who was around and eating practically nothing, she had no way to resist the wine.

  Isabel along with her constantly drained-up body was also in no shape to drink and they quickly started to get hungry for each other.

  The couple right in front of them saw, as the wine took effect right away and Isabel started to be bold.

  "Lucia, tell me what is your family business. I am quite interested in the banking business because in Venezia and Florence is this kind of business on the rise."

  "Our family's business was silversmithing, but silver is currently very expensive and hard to get merchandise, as it was confiscated by the church for some reason, so we lost income of money and then father suddenly died. My mother is a very famous artisan, so she is selling her paintings, but even that is too hard for her, so I am trying to find the way out of this situation."

  Cra knew the reason for the silver price to rocket, but she didn't expect the Bianchi family to be in such a deep mess.

  His mind quickly turned and he tried to guess how much money they could have.

  Cra on the other hand had another idea, that would benefit both her and Bianchi's family at the same time. After discovering that the Bianchi family was in such a situation, other families with connections to them will soon turn their back on them and only try to cut as much of their remaining wealth as possible.

  "How about we pay you for staying here for a while? I am curious about the painting, so I will try to learn some about them here, and in exchange, we will pay you fifty gold coins for a year of stay here."

Cra saw his shift of sight and felt very disturbed by him.

  “Allesio gave them room in the guest part of the household.”

  Allesio picked up two bags with gold coins and left. Cra followed and just before they left, Isabel pulled away Cra’s veil off her head and exposed her face and snow-white hair to Lucia. She wanted to give her the veil back, and as she picked it up and went closer to Cra to give it back, and saw that Cra was a vampire.

  “You are…”

  Cra turned back to Lucia and looked her in her eyes. Isabel in the meantime started to say something and Cra snatched the veil.

  "Thank you for picking me the veil. We go, but if you want you can join us in bed."
